About buying.
Is this really a one-time payment?
Yes. You pay once and the version you bought keeps working. Every future update is included too, major versions as well. There is no renewal and no card on file.
Why does the price go up?
Early buyers take a chance on a young app, so they pay less. The first 10 paid licenses cost $29 for one Mac or $49 for three. Licenses 11 to 20 cost $39 or $59. After that it is $49 or $79.
What counts as a machine?
One Mac. The license is activated per device, so a laptop and a desktop are two seats. If you reinstall macOS or restore from a backup on the same Mac, that is still one seat.
I hit my seat limit. Now what?
Email support with your purchase email and we will release the old seat, usually the same day. Self-service device management is on the roadmap.
Can I upgrade from one Mac to three later?
Not automatically yet. Email us at support@screenrecords.app and we will sort out the difference manually until the upgrade path ships.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes, within 14 days of purchase. The free version exists so you can decide before paying, but if it still is not right, we will refund it.
Do you have team or volume pricing?
Not as a product yet. If you need more than three seats, email support@screenrecords.app and we will make it work.
