Record your Mac screen.
Edit it in the same app.
Screen, camera and system audio in one native app — then cut the fumbles, zoom where it matters, narrate over it, and export an MP4 you are happy to send.
macOS 13.0+ · Apple Silicon and Intel · signed & notarized · v1.0.0
How it works
Set up, record, edit, send — without leaving the app.
Most Mac recorders hand you a file and wish you luck. This one opens the recording straight into an editor built for the same job.
Set up in one window
Full display, a single window, or a region. Camera, microphone and system audio are three toggles, not three menus. Pick a stop shortcut and go.
Record with the controls in reach
The overlay stays visible wherever you are on macOS. Pause, stop, or hit your shortcut. The capture region stays outlined so you know what lands in the file.
Edit in the same app
The recording opens straight into the editor. Cut the fumbles, add zoom markers, record a cleaner voiceover, put a background behind it.
Export something worth sending
MP4 at the aspect ratio you need, audio on its own, or a transcript for the people who will not press play.
Camera off — this recording will have no camera bubble.
Everything you decide before recording, on one screen.
Capture area, session length, stop shortcut, devices and where the project saves. No wizard, no six-step modal. The status line at the bottom tells you exactly what is about to be recorded — and warns you before macOS does.
- Full display, a single window, or a drawn region
- Mic, camera and system audio as independent toggles
- Preset durations, or manual with a global stop shortcut
- Permission problems flagged before you hit record, not after
Why this one
The parts other recorders make you fight for.
None of this is exotic. It is just the set of things you keep needing when you record your work, collected in one app that does not charge monthly for them.
Controls stay visible across every Space
Switch desktops, go full screen, open a second display — the recording controls follow you. No hunting the menu bar mid-demo.
Blur your camera background
Keep the kitchen out of the founder update. Background blur runs on-device, live, while you record.
Any camera shape you like
Circle, rounded square, or full frame. Resize and reposition the bubble before you record or after — it is not baked in.
Record voiceover in the editor
Hold to narrate over the timeline. Re-record one sentence without redoing the take, and keep the original audio underneath or drop it.
Split and delete that actually feel fast
Cut at the playhead, select the dead air, delete. Two keys. Trimming a 20-minute walkthrough should not need a timeline course.
Zoom effects with a depth choice
Drop a zoom marker where the click happens and choose how far in it goes. Motion is eased, not snapped, so it reads as intentional.
An editor that keeps up with you
Native macOS, hardware-accelerated. Scrubbing, cutting and exporting run at the speed of the machine you already paid for.
Audio you can actually get at
Mic, system audio and voiceover stay separate. Export the audio track on its own when the podcast version matters more than the video.
Set the length before you start
Pick a duration and record to it, or leave it manual and stop with a shortcut. Good for the 90-second update you promised.
You can see the region you are recording
The capture area is outlined on screen the whole time. No more discovering the sidebar was cropped after you finished talking.
Export
One recording, three useful outputs.
The same take becomes the demo video, the audio clip, and the written version — without opening anything else.
MP4
H.264 video at the aspect ratio you picked — 16:9, vertical, or square.
Audio
Mic, system audio and voiceover, exportable on their own.
Transcript
Text of what was said, for release notes, meeting recaps and captions.

The boring guarantees
Your recordings stay yours.
Screen recordings capture whatever is on screen — customer data, dashboards, unreleased work. This app is built so none of that has to leave your Mac.
Signed and notarized
Apple-notarized builds, so macOS opens it without the right-click ritual.
Local-first projects
Recordings and projects live in a folder you choose. Nothing is uploaded to us.
Non-destructive edits
Cuts, zooms and backgrounds are instructions. Your raw capture is never overwritten.
One payment
A lifetime license, not a subscription. Buy it once and it keeps working.
Questions
Before you download.
What do I get for free?
Three complete recordings with the full editor and watermark-free MP4 export. No account and no email address needed — download it and start.
Is this a subscription?
No. It is a one-time payment for a lifetime license: $29 for one Mac, $49 for three. All 1.x updates are included.
What happens after my three free recordings?
The app asks you to unlock before the fourth recording starts. Everything you already recorded stays yours — you can keep editing and exporting those projects.
Can I move my license to a new Mac?
Yes. A one-Mac license activates on one machine at a time; email support and we will free the old seat. The three-Mac license covers a desktop, a laptop and a spare without asking.
Does it record system audio?
Yes — system audio, your microphone, and camera, each on its own track so you can adjust or export them separately.
Do my recordings go to a server?
No. Recording and editing happen entirely on your Mac. The app only talks to our backend to verify your license and check for updates.
Which Macs are supported?
Apple Silicon and Intel Macs running macOS 13 or later. The download is a signed, notarized .dmg.
Can I get a refund?
Yes — 14 days, no argument. The free trial exists so you can find out first, but if it does not work for you, email us.
Your next update, recorded in one take.
Download it, record three times for free, and decide from there.
